You can obtain change (Mon-Fri) by visiting Avalon Estates (next door) from 9am until 1pm. Click here for the location.
We are open from 7am until 9pm every day of the year. Last wash is 8pm.
Please see below instructions on how to use each machine in our launderette. You can also find these instructions inside the launderette.
After loading the machine, select the temperature of the wash required. Place the washing powder between compartments A & B, then any conditioner in compartment C. These compartments are located on the top of the machine. You will require 5 x £1 coins for a cold, warm or hot wash in these 16lb machines. Turn the round metal knob after inserting each £1 coin.
After loading the machine, select the temperature required from programme 1 to 5. Place the washing powder between compartments A & B, then any conditioner in compartment C. These compartments are located on the top of the machine. You will require 9 x £1 coins for your selected washing programme. Once the 9 x £1 coins have been inserted the machine will automatically start.
After loading the tumble dryer insert your coins. Our tumble dryers accept 20p's, £1 and £2 coins. You will get from 2 minutes of drying for 20p. After the coins have been inserted select the temperature required. You can select from high, low or perma press. Then selct the start button if required.
Ensure the plastic container is located in the vend area of the soap Dispenser prior to inserting your 20p's (left hand side of the white machine). 2 x 20p's for powder is enough for a single wash in any washing machine. The laundry soap Dispenser only vends DAZ professional washing power.

It's a good old fashioned, self service launderette. 9 large washing machines + 1 extra large machine. Plenty of Large dryers from 20p. Always clean. Hasn't been busy any of the times I have been. They sell washing powder from a machine if you need. You can get change next door if you need to.
Used it many times in the past, never had any issues with the self service.
